Wonderful lecture by Mike Monteiro at Webstock: “How designers destroyed the world”

Mike Monteiro is the owner of Mule Design and is well known for his outspokenness on topics concerning design, entrepreneurship and the combination of the two. In this lecture, he starts off with an example of how a simple design flaw in the Facebook interface caused a young woman getting cast out from her family by her father, because the owner of gay choir added her without her consent to the public facebook group of that choir.
The talk goes on about why, as a designer, you should take always responsibility for your work and never ever give in on stupid, uninformed, unethical decisions.
I think the talk perfectly sums up the relevance and importance of my research.
